Sailing and Earl
So I really wanted to call this blog post "Southeast of Disorder" but I was not southeast of it, more like west. For holiday, it was a week in the British Virgin Islands and it turned out that hurricane Earl was to visit us. We did get one day of sailing on either end of the trip and some amazing snorkeling and also sat out the hurricane on our rented 32 foot monohull. No complaints, it was an amazing adventure and it was great to spend the nights reading. On the night that the storm was the most intense I read "Doors of Perception" and after that Christine and I alternated reading chapters of "The Hungry Ocean."
