Santa Barbara

We have made it to Santa Barbara and are getting some much needed rest. I am surprised to discover that i am not waiting much about this trip. It turns out that sailing is very demanding and that when in port it is great to have a physical and mental break. It is also interesting to discover the rhythm of life. I have read about peoples opinions on the difference but it doesn't come close. Each port of call has been a different chasm, sucking us into something and we keep wondering if we should go with it or shove off.

Going

It has been 12 day at sea and they were rough on us and the boat but out all worked out in the end.

Walking around Ventura harbour the humans seem stange and my body misses the oceans continuous motion,both predictable and chaotic.

We are starting to discover how to communicate as partners and as sailors that is the interesting thing about sailing with your spouse.

I have even found a bit of time to compose. The mental space has been good. I have just been to exhausted physically to get any real progress. Still the moments have been great, both musically personally and the nature
