Round Island Violin

I have always had a fascination with extracting parameters of sound as material for new sounds. This is a a step in that direction. The original recording was made at Round Island and the water, birds and walrus dominate the sonic space. From this I have extracted pitch information which controls 2 synthesizers, one low pitched and one high pitched. In the middle of the sound space I have taken the material and performed it on the violin. While a rough study, it is a step closer to something that I have been working on for years now.
